Lancashire UNISON Petition for Fair Pay for Social Care Support Workers

Social Care Support Officers in Lancashire County Council provide essential frontline support to individuals and family across the county. Working alongside Social Worker and other colleagues in Adult Services, they often go above and beyond their pay grades to provide the best outcomes for the people they work with.

 

For two years, Social Care Support Officers have been fighting for a job regrade and a clear outline of their job boundaries – to no avail. 

 

Lancashire UNISON have now successfully balloted SCSOs with an overwhelming YES result - with 90% in favour of strike action on a 70% turnout!   A huge show of unity and strength!
